about me...
"It's bigger on the inside!"
-The Doctor
I was born in Munich and have lived there ever since. During my studies in Physics, I eventually realized that most of my questions would not be answered by natural science alone - which in my mind does not provide a complete or even coherent worldview at all. Following a recommendation by a friend, I consequently started to visit the Munich School of Philosophy whenever I could and received a classical education in basic Philosophy there. Later I started to specialize in analytical Metaphysics, which best suited my interest in complete and comprehendable worldviews. After having earned my diploma in theoretical statistical Physics, which I enjoyed a lot, I decided to concentrate Philosophy and started my PhD Thesis with Prof. Brüntrup at the Munich School of Philosophy. When I am not hunched over a library desk, I enjoy running or cycling around the English Garden in Munich, reading comic books in my armchair at home and the occasional social gathering. Recently I have also taken a job as part-time high-school teacher at the Maximiliansgymnasium in Munich, which I enjoy a lot and where I learn a lot about life and about explaining maths and physics in clear and simple terms, without unnecessary formal language.
- Systematic focus:
Analytic Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mind and Philosophy of Science.
